Question: Are you trying to make a device showing early stage Multiple Sclerosis or is that not it your specific field?

Hi Rory,
No, I’m not working on a device to mimic the early stage of Multiple Sclerosis. I’m working on an inflammatory aspect of early stage of Multiple Sclerosis. Other people from my team are working on creation of a device, but it is also not to mimic the Multiple Sclerosis. We all need each other and cooperating constantly, because our background fields are different. This is very beneficial environment, because this way we are able to fulfil each other projects and make them even better. It is always the best to have people from different fields of expertise in your group.

HI, sorry for my late response (I was having a bit of a lazy weekend(: ) It sounds like you’re part of a great team, do you like working in groups? Also, how has the pandemic changed your work? Are you all allowed in a lab together with the pandemic? What precautions are you taking also, and finally, as a scientist, are you able to by pass some restrictions e.g. going to the lab to research?

Hi, no need to apologize 😉 Thank you so much that you liked my answer, each like is helping me to collect points 🙂 I like working in a group a lot. Time is flying fast, you can share your day with other people, talk about life or science or about food, what is a topic which is always uniting people 😉 You can also learn from each other this way. It’s good to be a part of some little community. Pandemic unfortunately slowed down everything a lot. My lab was closed completely for some time and now we are working, but only 15 people at the same time. To the lab belongs more than 60 people, what means we have to work in shifts. So each of us has a limited time in the lab in which has to perform experiments and leave the place to let the next people go in. This made the work a bit more tensed and less free, but well, we are all in this together 😉 During the whole time in the lab we have to wear masks and keep the social distancing. This way we are missing some social aspect of our work. On the other hand I’m very happy that my work place remained open during this lockdown and even with restrictions and limitations we are still able to work. So there are some positives and I’m trying to focus on them 🙂 And hey, Christmas is coming! So lets hope we will all stay healthy and can charge batteries during this holiday.
