At the moment in my current role no. I am working as a project manager developing and coordinating training programmes and opportunities for students and researchers on my programmes to build skills that will help them progress with their research careers.
However; if I do public engagement and outreach activities then I get to do some fun experiments to explain different science concepts and ideas to all types of audiences, kids and adults but in my day to day work I am part of a team of scientists but I don’t work in a lab.

Yes, quite often actually. Currently, I am doing some experiments to figure out if knee noise can be useful to diagnose different knee conditions. I record knee noises and movements of people when they cycle in my lab using specialized equipment.
