• Question: Do you think one day we will know longer be using green house gases as a form of energy and have complete green energy

      Hi daws49kay,

      That would be amazing and I wish it would happen. I also want to believe that the future will bring some novel way of producing energy, which will be eco-friendly. For now, it looks a bit unrealistic. But I’m keeping my finger crossed a lot for that! Maybe we’ll still have a chance to see it during our life, lets hope for that!

      I think at least for the rest of this century we will be using some fossil fuels as energy, but we will be slowly transitioning from coal to natural gas to non-fossil fuel over the next several decades, hopefully to the point it produces negligible green house gas. A lot of it will come down to the challenges of technology. We can’t power the economy right now with pure wind and solar since they do not give consistent power. We need to supplement it with other energy sources (like nuclear) or get better energy storage technology!
