      Depends on the asteroid, and where it is. Pretty fast in general, but much more so as it approaches the sun.

      Depends a bit on their orbits! But at least several kilometers per second, which is faster than a bullet!

      Its because they move so fast they cause a lot of damage if they hit a planet (and why a big asteroid killed off the dinosaurs)
