• Question: How severe would a leg injury need to be to involve amputation? And if it was necaserry how would you do it?

      Hi need49few,

      I’m not a specialist in this discipline. As I know one of the ways which leads to amputation is a complete damage/pressure on vains which are nutricing the leg. Like that leg tissue is no longer being “feeded”, so the tissue starts dieing. I have no idea how I’d perform an amputation if I had to. For sure you have to pressure hard about the cut but I know nothing more, sorry.

    Usually you have to amputate a body part if it can no longer get blood flow. This causes your cells to die and then decay and get infected. The chemicals caused by decay and infection can poison your body which is why you need to amputate so the cell death doesn’t spread.
    Not sure how to amputate! But the most imporant thing would be control the bleeding and then prevent infection.
