The definition of dexterity is: “readiness and grace in physical activity, especially skill and ease in using the hands.”
A dexterous hand is not clumsy. They can do complicated things, like tying shoe laces, playing piano, solving Rubik’s Cubes ( https://youtu.be/jm-ihc7CASY )
When our hands and fingers are cold and we can’t feel very well, it is much harder to perform dexterous tasks, like tying shoelaces after you’ve been throwing snowballs!
