• Question: Why is copper a sanitisation metal

      I don’t fully understand it, maybe someone knows more than me. But copper (and other metals) react with surface of a bacteria that causes them to die!

      Dear knee49far,
      the chemical property of copper are so that it binds with the bacteria proteins leading to their death, this is particular important against some bacteria that lives in drinking water that can start to grow and cause a disgusting and dangerous slime.
