      Hello keep49hue,

It all depends on which kind of damage happened to your brain. Sometimes the damage can be very tiny, and other structures can take over responsibilities from the structure which was damage, or sometimes it can even heal to some point, so you won’t notice the damage after some time and person can live without limitations. Other time the damage is quite severe, and it is not so easy any more to fix it. Brain is very plastic and always trying to find some solution for the damage by creating new connections etc. We can help it by very specific rehabilitation or drug intake. In some cases sadly we are able to do nothing. So it all depends on what is damage in the brain and how severe it is.
