It’s a everpresent risk, we have develop a termal system that work fine against this system but requires a good immunosystem in the patient

The risk of cancer coming back after treatment varies greatly depending on cancer and treatment type, lifestyle and genetics of a patient. It can be quite low (kidney cancer, early-stage osteosarcoma) or unfortunately very high (glioblastoma). It’s never zero, but that shouldn’t’ t discourage people, as zero risk is a quite rare thing in life in general.
